A little bit about us and our vision for NL Studios….
Nate Ross and I first met in painting class at the Academy of Art in San Francisco back in 2002. A LONG time ago. :) We’ve since made a life together and have both worked separate creative careers, always with the dream of someday joining our artistic forces in some way, shape or form. Three years ago we had our first two-person exhibition together at Studio Gallery in San Francisco, and last year we began our Youtube channel, “Painting with Lindsey & Nate”. Our hope for 2023 and beyond is to expand on this dream and create more content including videos (Plein Air, studio, and instructional), in-person workshops, and lots more monthly art sales and shows all while sharing what we learn along the way. Paintings for Sale…
Every month or so we have small paintings for sale including gouache studies, drawings, plein air paintings, etc. They will be available for immediate purchase on my “Painting Sale” page the day of the sale.

Nate Ross’ Art
Painting in both oil paint and gouache, Nate focuses mostly on the urban landscape both in the studio and En Plein Air. He’s currently showing at several galleries around the US, and working as an animator for a film studio in London, England.

We’ve recently started a new Youtube channel called “Painting with Lindsey & Nate”. Here we explore different corners of the world as well as our own backyard through Plein Air painting, studio painting, and art inspired expeditions! We share tips and tricks we’ve learned along the way that we hope will add value to your artistic journey as well.
